TESTIMONY OF MY PARTICIPATION

My name is Samira Montoya I work as television director; I have 9 years taking part in all the conventions of ANDINA LINK including the past one in February, 2009 in the city of Cartagena.
Like programmer and part of this event I reaffirm every year that is one of the most important shows in the industry of paid television in Latin America, thanks to the professionalism of her chairwoman Luz Marina Arango and of all her work team. They always make sure that this great event ends with satisfactory results for all participants who take part of it, no matter if they are suppliers or buyers.
It is a tradition inside our industry to be present in ANDINA LINK from which we always return pleased with the results obtained during the convention.

In the 21st century where technological advances are moving in giant steps is important to know the trends offered by the world of television, Andina Link Cartagena offers this possibility to learn, observe and access the present and future of the industry.
It was very interesting for the attendees to see what the technology exhibitors had to offer as well as the possibility of exchanging experiences between the cable operators and the different programmers and channels, due to the fact that the quality of visitors and exhibitors was at the highest level of the needs and requirements of the sector. I highlight the great opportunity for new businesses, for Teleamiga Internacional in specific, thanks to this event we acquired a video server and other devices as well as enrolling new cable systems of Latin America to offer our signal.
We have no doubt that ANDINA LINK is a door for the development of new markets and ideas for companies of television and telecommunications, and its very important for the attendees of the national and international channels to give content to specific topics, for example edition equipments, cameras, lights, sound among other trends that are significant today.
The constant evolution of the technical resources, the television contents, the audio-visual entertainment and the digital trends and the opportunity to interact with the attendees make ANDINA LINK an essential trade show for every company, to be at the forefront of the requirements of the consumer that allows to improve not only the production but also the result itself for the television viewers.

For us it was a good trade show. We have had new contacts and reaffirmed some that year after year visit us to the different international shows. That is for us is very important because it reaffirms us as a service company with international scope and a permanent and uninterrupted presence since our first expo ANDINA LINK 2006.
As always the organization was impeccable and the disposition of the organizing staff to solve any disadvantage, if any, as well.

For our company it is very important to have brand exposure in this type of events. ANDINA LINK Cartagena allows us to explore the market of the cable television, showing us every year the variables of this business, through the interaction with our clients in Latin America and the approximation with companies interested in future negotiations.
This year CINEMA+ was consolidated as an excellent alternative between the channels of movies, always emphasizing his differential element - the independent movies; as well as we come to ANDINA LINK 2009 with a new product, MY PEOPLE TV with only 7 months in the air that has had very good acceptance in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela and Guatemala. This event apart from being an effective tool to achieve marketing strategies of the company also generate us a noticeable increase in sales, making the commercial efforts to flow without complications in a month and year difficult for all of us. |
