The commercial exhibition of ANDINA LINK CENTRAL AMERICA 2008 GUATEMALA with more than of 900 mts of commercial exhibition, was visited by the most important cable and telecommunication operators of the Central America and Andean region, as well as companies manufacturers, suppliers, and representatives of technology and international programming, from The United States, Argentina, Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Panama, Venezuela, Honduras, Costa Rica, Belize among others. Between the different equipment and technological solutions the visitors found solutions such as: advanced optical transport systems for networks, accessories and modules for amplification of TV cable signals, integral solutions of communication, manufactures and distributors of Equipments for CATV, nodes, optical transmitters, services related to audio, and video equipments and information for broadcast, new and re-manufactured equipments for cable operators, equipments for professional systems of television for cable and satellite, among other products and services. On the other hand the big international programmers had a strong presence at the show, offering their programming which covers the expectations of the final user: entertainment, contents in Spanish, information, sport, religious, original productions, humor, culture, and a lot of options for the entertainment and education of all the viewers in the region. The commercial exhibition was complemented with two commercial Workshops, which gave a vision of the challenges and changes that the market demands aimed to small and medium companies that are a very important market segment in constant growth. These Workshops were given by: METASWITCH with the intervention of the Engineer Javier Guzman with his agenda " Services of Voice and Value Added for the PYMES " and the company ALLOPTIC with the intervention of the Engineer Marcello Giacaglia with the agenda " Platform Multiple FFTH Services for operators of Cable with Maintenance of the Structure Headend and Possibility of Revenue on the Market SME ".
